Sam relives the same day over and over, continually having to deal with Dean's death. Determined to stop the time loop, he repeatedly tries to alter the day or otherwise prevent his brother's death from ever occurring. After repeated failures, a slight change in how the day plays out tips Sam off on whom the culprit really is.
